People wear shoes. Well, most people do. The same applies to virtual humans, every character in videogames wear shoes of some sort.
I wonder what they are wearing?
I've been documenting shoes in videogames for a few months now.
It's experimental, it's not a full documentation yet, only the ones
I find interesting. Protagonist, supporting characters, enemies, NPCs, pedestrians, they are all included.
As players, we rarely look down on our own shoes, or even NPCs shoes, we know they are there, but we never notice them. Yet, shoes are an integral part of character design, often overlooked and put aside by a pretty hat or a fancy jacket, items that are within our line of sight. This time,
I want to look a little lower.
I still have a long list of games to cover, including some older ones that need to be installed. This is an ongoing project, just like VRP, every day is an experiment.
A lot of them rely on NVIDIA Ansel and photo-modes, some of the games were supplied by NVIDIA and Ubisoft too, thanks guys.
